Bicycling Information

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Several bike trails and pathways surround Fort Stanwix National Monument. Local trails showcase the Mohawk River and Erie Canal. National trails will lead you through the State of New York to view its beautiful heritage and scenery.

The trail that immediately surrounds the fort is approximately 0.6 miles in length. Several trails connect via city corridors. Look for bike share road marks and other signage for directions.

A bicycle rack can be found at the entrance to the fort and near the visitor center. Bikes are not allowed beyond the fort bridge, so please be certain to secure your belongings accordingly.
