Welcome to Fort Stanwix National Monument! The little park with the big story in Rome, NY. Fort Stanwix is one of more than 400 sites in the National Park Service. 2016 is the fortieth anniversary of the park opening to the public, and you are invited to the celebration! At Fort Stanwix you can play games, bike the park trails, watch fireworks, learn about the American Revolution, and a lot more! There are many options to make your visit more accessible. There are open captions on park movies, hearing loop and assistive listening devices, Braille translations of brochures, and staff members available to sign tours! And if you want to learn more about the park before your visit, all park YouTube videos have closed captions. The best part is all of these services are free to you. All you have to do is ask!
