Visitor Center

The Visitor Center is open daily from 9AM until 5PM. Park staff are available to assist with park orientation and answering of questions. A variety of publications are available as well. Exhibits inside the Visitor Center highlight the construction of Fort Pulaski and the signifigance of the battle for Fort Pulaski in April 1862.

"The Battle for Fort Pulaski" is a 20 minute film that highlights the history of Fort Pulaski from its early construction to the later struggle for its control during the Civil War. The film shows every half hour from 9am to 4:30pm inside the Visitor Center. It is also available on our website.
