Friends of Fort Frederica Mission Statement: To serve as a partner to the National Park Service to support, promote and protect the future of Fort Frederica National Monument; To increase recognition, public awareness and appreciation of fort Frederica National Monument as a resource of local, state, national, and international significance; To develop a volunteer base to provide necessary man hours, to encourage advovacy, to provide a nonprofit status to accept and raise necessary donations and funding; To support the support the Fort Frederica Association in fulfilling its mission; To encourage the participation in and the enjoyment of Fort Frederica National Monument by citizens of all ages; To enhance educational, interpretive and research oppurtunities relating to the natural heritage and historical heritage of the park and its environs; To perform all actions, obligations and undertakings provided for and permitted as a Partner with the National Park Service. |
