Reservations for ranger-guided fall field trips open May 1, 2026.
We will be offering ranger-guided field trips on a first come, first serve basis Monday through Friday starting September 15 through November 20. Ranger-led programs last approximately 2-3 hours in length and will be centered around activity-based programming. In addition to the ranger-guided activities, groups should plan for additional time to tour the memorial on their own.

We recommend this option for groups that are unable to schedule a ranger‑guided tour or have limited time at the memorial but still want a meaningful introduction to the site.
Upon arrival to the memorial, the group leader should ask the ranger at the front desk of the Visitor Center if they would be able to provide an orientation to their group. Depending on staffing levels and visitor volume, the ranger can give a 5 to 10 minute orientation to the memorial and the story of Flight 93. Following the ranger orientation, your group can continue their visit self-guided.

Educators are encouraged to bring their students to the memorial for a self-guided field trip any time that works best for them! The Memorial Grounds are open every day from sunrise to sunset and the Visitor Center is open everyday from 9:00am to 5:00pm excluding Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
No reservation is required for fully self-guided groups. However, please provide the park ranger at the front desk of the Visitor Center with the total number of buses and visitors in your group when you arrive.
