Farm Security Administration (1937-1946)
The FSA was formerly called the Resettlement Administration and provided relief for sharecroppers and temporary housing for those displaced by the Dust Bowl. The FSA photography group was responsible for reporting the plight of the poor farmer. Many of the most well-known images from the Great Depression were taken by this group. After World War II, it was replaced by the Farmers Home Administration.

CCC - Civilian Conservation Corps (1933-1942)
This program was designed to provide relief for unemployed youth and to help with conservation and the development of natural resources. It became the most popular program of the New Deal and employed over three million young men. As the economy recovered and World War II began, the need for the program ended and Congress stopped funding.
