The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the National Park Service (NPS) work with other federal agencies, state and local governments, organizations, tribes, and private individuals to administer El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro National Historic Trail. Partners provide opportunities for visitors to experience the trail, to discover its story and significance, and they protect and preserve trail resources. The association is a national organization dedicated to preserving El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro and telling its stories. National Scenic BywayThe historic trail is also designated as El Camino Real De Tierra Adentro National Scenic Byway, a program administered by the U.S. Federal Highway Administration.
