The 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Cowpens

Cowpens National Battlefield will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the battle in January 2031. The two-day event will feature living history demonstrations, musket and cannon firing demonstrations, and children's activities in the park. Continue to visit this site for more details.

Ranger-led Programs


*Ranger-led programs are offered on Saturdays and Sundays when staffing and weather permits.

Meet behind the Visitor Center at the benches. Ranger programs (presented by rangers or volunteers) discuss the history of the Battle of Cowpens and the development of Cowpens National Battlefield. Please check with staff for program times. Ranger talks are 30 minutes and require limited walking. Ranger walks (Battlefield Walks) are 60 minutes and require walking for a prolonged period.
