Image Size

Access this dialog by clicking the Edit button next to Image Size in the Image Properties dialog. Use this dialog to modify image or border size or vertical/horizontal spacing. Remember that you cannot make an image larger than it is—you can only make it smaller. Making an image larger than the original adds artifacts and results in poor image quality. You can optionally inherit or override any current CSS settings affecting image border and spacing values, as described below.

This dialog also includes a No Size option for responsive design rendering.

Complete the following:

No Size Attributes renders the image without fixed Height and Width values. Use this option to allow the browser to auto-size images relative to screen size.
Original Size resets image size to the version first uploaded to the server.
Scaled renders the image using values you specify.(if selected, the Scale proportionally section opens)
- Scale proportionally: Check this option to maintain aspect ratio. Enter a value for either width or height to automatically calculate the other dimension to maintain proper image proportion. If you leave this option unchecked, you must enter both dimensions manually. To maintain image integrity, proportional scaling is usually preferred.

This dialog displays the NOTE shown above if styles are in effect for image border or padding. Optionally inherit current style sheet values by entering zero (0) for these settings, or manually override style sheet settings by entering specific values for the following:

Border Width: To render linked images with a border, specify the border width in pixels. If you do not want a border, or you want to honor current style sheet settings, set or keep this field at zero (0).
Spacing Around Image: Enter the number of pixels of “padding” to leave between the image and the text or cell boundaries. If you do not want padding, or you want to honor any current style sheet settings, set or keep this field at zero (0).
