Colorado National Monument is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

For updates on storm or temporary closures call the park hotline at [phone] extension 350. At times, Rim Rock Drive may close due to rock slides, snow, or other events. The park hotline is the best way to get the most current updates.

Visitor Center Hours

The Saddlehorn Visitor Center and the bookstore operated by the Colorado National Monument Association are open from 9 am to 4 pm, with extended hours in the spring and summer months (typically April through September) from 9 am to 5 pm.

The visitor center is closed Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November), Christmas Day (December 25th), and New Year's Day (January 1st).

Saddlehorn Campground Hours

The campground is open year round, 24 hours a day. A and C loops close for the winter season, and B loop is open all year. Reserve all sites, including same day sites, on recreation.gov
