Depositional Environment: Shallow marine and mud-flats
Appearance: Mix of siltstone, shale and sandstone forms slopes
Example: Some occurrence around the rim of Horseshoe Canyon makes this the youngest layer in Canyonlands. More prevalent along the Green River.
