The National Park Service is directed by law* to collect a reasonable fee for Commercial Use Authorizations (CUAs) in an amount that is, at minimum, sufficient to recover the NPS costs in administering and managing the CUAs. CUA holders are subject to a market price fee calculated by gross receipts earned from park-based operations. Application fees are credited to the CUA holder upon payment of market price fee. The fee structure of the CUA program adopts the market price methodology as described in the table titled "General CUA Fee Structure". The fee structure includes a non-refundable fee of $100.00. The fee determined for managing CUA’s is 3% of the CUA’s annual gross revenues, or $300.00, whichever is greater. * National Parks Omnibus Management Act of 1998, Public Law 105-391 (Section 418)
