Junior Ranger programs offer fun activities for children and families. You will learn about the National Park Service’s work and discover what makes each park unique. Explore exhibits, watch park films, hike trails, enjoy scenic views, join special events, and talk with park rangers. Through these experiences, you’ll be encouraged to explore and appreciate the parks.
Becoming a Jr Ranger at Booker T. Washington National Monument is easy: start your adventure by following these steps.
Begin by visiting the visitor center if you are between 6 and 12, and request a Junior Ranger booklet.
Complete the activities in your Junior Ranger booklet as you explore the Monument.
After you finish the booklet activities, show your work to a ranger and receive your badge.
Then, take the Junior Ranger pledge with a ranger to promise to keep yourself and the parks safe.
