The Anacostia River trail meanders along the River from Bladensburg to the Navy Yard. The trail takes you through 12 miles of forest, fields, marsh and river ecosystem. Portions of the trail are on both sides of the Anacostia River through Anacostia Park. The Anacostia Riverwalk Trail is great for a casual stroll, a jog, a bike ride, or a dog walk. Along the way, you'll experience views of the Anacostia River and its wildlife. The entire trail is paved. The trail goes past Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens and has multiple entrances and exits. The trail connects to five bridges across the Anacostia River and to other city bikes routes. Washington DC Bike Map
