We are located along the US/Mexican Border, south of Ajo, west of Tucson, and east of Yuma.

Plane: Nearest airports are in Phoenix and Tucson.

Car: From the NORTH: follow Arizona Highway 85 through Ajo and Why. The Monument is 4 miles from Why. The Kris Eggle Visitor Center is 22 miles (35.4 km) south of Why. From the EAST: follow Arizona Highway 86 to Why, then turn south on Arizona Highway 85. From the WEST: follow I-8 to Gila Bend or I-10 to Buckeye, then turn south on Arizona Highway 85. From MEXICO: drive on Mexico Route 2 to Sonoyta, then north to Lukeville. Drive north on Highway 85 from Lukeville. The Kris Eggle Visitor Center is 4 miles north of Lukeville on Highway 85.

Public Transportation: Seasonal transportation may be available. Inquire locally.

Getting Around: No rentals or public transportation available in area. Access is by foot, cycle or private vehicle. Ranger guided van tours are available during the winter season, check at the Kris Eggle Visitor Center for information.
