America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Hangtag

Hangtags - Are provided for all pass types and are used to display the passes at un-staffed recreation areas.
 
Must be obtained in person at NPS, USDA FS, FWS, BLM and Reclamation recreation sites that charge fees.
 
Only used to display passes at un-staffed recreation sites. There are no additional benefits.
Not for use without a valid America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands pass inserted in the hangtag.
 

 
 

America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Decal

Decals - Are provided to Annual and Volunteer pass holders who own open top vehicles, such as motorcycles and jeeps for use at un-staffed recreation areas.

Must be obtained in person at NPS, USDA FS, FWS, BLM and Reclamation recreation sites that charge fees.

Vehicle registration required to obtain a decal. Two decals allowed per Annual Pass. One decal allowed per Volunteer Pass.

Only used to verify pass ownership for open top vehicles at un-staffed recreation sites. There are no additional benefits.

Not for use without a valid America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands annual or volunteer pass.

 

 
Corps of Engineers Annual Day Use Pass

$30

Pass is valid for one year from issue date.

Anyone can purchase the pass.

Purchase it at any COE site where day use fees are charged. The pass may also be purchased through the mail from most COE district or lake offices. To find a district office, see www.usace.army.mil/divdistmap.html

A pass for day use facilities at any COE site during the year. Covers fees charged for boat ramps or swim beaches at Corps sites. The pass does not cover camping fees or fees for special facilities such as group picnic shelters, multipurpose courts, amphitheaters, athletic complexes, etc.

Admits the pass owner and any accompanying passengers (up to a total of 8 people) in a private vehicle*.

 

Federal Duck Stamp

$15

July 1st through June 30th of the next year.

Anyone can purchase the pass.

Available online at www.duckstamp.com or by calling the Federal Duck Stamp Office at: (703) 358-2000
Available at post offices, many national wildlife refuges, and local sporting goods stores.

Mandatory federal permit for hunters 16 years and older to hunt waterfowl.
Access to FWS sites that charge entrance fees.

Admits the pass owner and any accompanying passengers in a private vehicle.* In those areas where a per person fee is charged, the pass admits the pass owner, spouse and children.

 

*A private vehicle is defined as any non-commercial vehicle that is being used for private recreational purposes e.g. automobile, motorcycle.

** Only the America Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior and Access passes provide a 50 percent discount on some Expanded Amenity Fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, boat launching, and specialized interpretive services. In some cases where Expanded Amenity Fees are charged, only the pass holder will be given the 50 percent price reduction. The passes are non-transferable and generally do NOT cover or reduce special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessionaires. Inquire locally for pass acceptance policies.

Discontinued Passes - These passes are being discontinued due to the passage of the Federal Lands and Recreation Enhancement Act. All National Parks Passes; Golden Eagle, Golden Access and Golden Age Passports will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass. Only paper Golden Age and Golden Access Passports may be exchanged free of charge for new plastic passes.
