Since 1995, the Challenge Cost Share Program has helped Trail partners complete more than 500 projects. These include development of web pages and exhibits, construction of visitor centers and trails, funding of living history events and festivals. Some of these projects are shown in the slideshow above.

Did You Know?
The Lewis and Clark Expedition was to record "the names of the nations & their numbers.” Interactions with American Indians were, however, more than a record of names and numbers. They were matters of survival and success. Trade with tribes and the information they provided sustained the Expedition.
