Audio Description

At Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center, two videos that play in the exhibit area. You can access the audio description through a QR code or ask a staff member for assistance.

At Joshua Tree Visitor Center, devices that provide audio descriptions of exhibits are available upon request from the front desk.

Alternate Formats

The official park map and brochure is available in the following formats: braille, large print, and in a variety of formats online, including audio described and text based.

Please ask at the information desk for more information.

Tactile Exhibits

Tactile exhibits are available at the following locations:

  • Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center: tortoises and leaves
  • Joshua Tree Visitor Center: natural history models, tactile of the museum space
  • Cottonwood Visitor Center: rocks
  • Keys View: Map of the viewshed
