BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARYWilliam Christopher Alexander was born in Taft, California and moved to Hawaiʻi in 1968. He attended his last few years of high school in Hawaiʻi while residing in Kailua, Oʻahu. He has been living on Maui full time since 1981. After volunteering at the park for a few years, Chris was hired as a seasonal worker under Ron Nagata in 1983. His first assignment was helping to build a fence line across Kaupō Gap. Throughout the 1980s, as a seasonal worker, he spent many years brushing, building, and inspecting the fence line. |
