Partnership is a key component to the success of Fort Vancouver NHS, and the park deeply values the support and commitment of its partners.

At the Vancouver National Historic Reserve, the park is a legislated partner and works in concert with the City of Vancouver, the State of Washington, and the United States Army.

The efforts of the National Park Service and other Reserve partners are strongly supported by the dilligent work of the Vancouver National Historic Reserve Trust, the official non-profit organization for the Reserve.

In Oregon City, Oregon, the National Park Service partners with the City of Oregon City, Clackamas Heritage Partners, the Historic Oregon City Heritage Coordinating Committee, and the McLoughlin Memorial Association on community projects and events, including special events at the park's McLoughlin House Unit.
