SAVANNAH, GA – The long-lived Savannah tradition returns! Fort Pulaski National Monument’s Candle Lantern Holiday Tours will take place December 13-14, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM each night. Experience a unique visit during this festive event by taking a night-time guided walk through historic Fort Pulaski, lit by candlelight and oil lamps. Visitors will sample holiday refreshments, sing a carol or two, listen to performers and living historians, and even catch a night-time cannon firing, all while learning about Fort Pulaski’s past.Tickets for Fort Pulaski National Monument’s Candle Lantern Holiday Tours will go on sale on recreation.gov on November 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM E.T. The Candle Lantern Holiday tour fee will be $10 per adult (16 and older) and $1 per child (15 and younger). Interagency passes will not be accepted for this event. All visitors must secure reservations through Recreation.gov and will show their digital or printed ticket confirmation at the park Entrance Station. Six programs will be offered each evening at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, & 8:30 PM.
