Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Park Partners The organizations listed below work with the park to provide various opportunities that enhance the visitor experience, protect natural and cultural resources, and preserve the history of the area.

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Appalachian Mountain Club, and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail all work with the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area's trails team and outdoor recreation planner to coordinate projects and meetings between the park and their organized volunteer groups. Park partners since 1998, the Friends of Delaware Water Gap NRA support the cultural, historical, natural, and recreational resources of the park. By increasing awareness of the park and the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River, this group promotes community connection, advocacy, expertise, and inspiration.Through fundraising, this group enhances the park's education and stewardship programs for which park funds are not available. This volunteer group assists the Interpretation and Education Department with the Marie Zimmermann Day in June, held at the Marie Zimmermann House.

The Millbrook Village Society is a volunteer group that focuses on Millbrook Village, an interpretive village located in the southern New Jersey side of the park. This group of volunteers are dedicated to demonstrating 19th-century life skills and pioneer craft within the village on certain days of the year, promoting education on the lifestyles of those living in the area during the 1800s.
This group also provides general maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and surroudning area. Since 2010, the MCTA has been in cooperation with the park to support fee-free shuttle systems throughout the park during the summer months. These shuttle systems alleviate overcrowding in parking areas, allow for planned river trip transportation, and more.

Formed in 1979, the Montague Association for the Restoration of Community History (M.A.R.C.H.) is a volunteer-led group that manages two historic structures in Montague, NJ. The organization's goals are to preserve and to educate the public about the unique history of Montague, New Jersey. A partner of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area since 2007, the Montague Grange is a local chapter of the National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, a social organization dedicated to bringing together rural communities through agriculture, service, and citizenship. This volunteer-powered organization builds, maintains, and protects public trails. Striving to ensure that trails and natural areas are sustainable and accessible for visitors, the park partners with this group through the trails team.

The Peters Valley School of Craft is a non-profit organization located within the historic village of Bevans. Founded in 1970 in partnership with the National Park Service, the mission of Peters Valley is to promote and encourage education and excellence in craft. The Pocono Environmental Education Center (P.E.E.C.) is a private non-profit that promotes environmental education, sustainable living, and an appreciation for nature through hands-on experience in a National Park Service site. Formed in 1985, the Walpack Historical Society raises awareness and interest in the rich history of the 19th century village of Walpack Center and the surrounding region. Their mission is to educate the public while protecting and maintaining artifacts and buildings, such as the Rosenkrans House and the Van Campen Inn.
