Explore the cultural and natural resources with students through hands-on activities, projects, and demonstrations. Create memorable experiences in the parks for the community's local youth groups. Earn graduate credits while you learn more about place-based education. Take what you learned about the National Park Service back to your students through a project you create over the summer. TRTs must have their own housing and transportation. Work is performed primarily outside and includes long periods of standing, climbing steps and walking uneven surfaces, and exposure to Florida's high heat and humidity during the summer months.
