Whether your class is studying barrier island geology, marine ecology, or maritime history, Cape Lookout National Seashore can provide excellent field trip opportunities. Self-guided educational programs can include a "meet and greet" with a park ranger at the Harkers Island Visitor Center along with a showing of our park film, Ribbon of Sand. You are also welcome to borrow materials to complete Life on the Outer Banks activity. Or bring your own materials and do it all on your own!
