Arches is open year-round, 24 hours a day. The visitor center is open daily during the following hours:

April through October: 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
November through March: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The visitor center is closed on December 25th.

Ed Abbey  

Did You Know?
Edward Abbey worked as a seasonal park ranger at Arches in the late 1950s. His 1968 memoir of this experience, "Desert Solitaire," has become a classic of desert literature.
