The park has a number of activities for children, including a Junior Ranger Program, programs for school groups and a historical hike through the park for Scouts and other organized youth groups.

Did You Know?
Clara Barton was one of the principal people behind the establishment of the National Cemetery at Andersonville. She raised the Stars and Stripes over the cemetery for the first time on August 17, 1865.
