Updated Winter Schedule Released for Whitman Mission National Historic Site

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitman Mission National Historic Site will switch to a temporary winter schedule on January 28, 2024. Under this schedule, the Visitor Center will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. An update for when the park will return to its Tuesday through Saturday operation in the spring will be provided at a later date.  

The park’s picnic area, restrooms, trails, and grounds continue to be open every day, sunrise to sunset. The park’s 25-minute film can be accessed online at https://go.nps.gov/whmi/film.
