Acer rubrum ‘October Glory’ 

April 22, 2020

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump planted an October Glory maple tree on the South Grounds outside the Oval Office on April 22, 2020. Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence also participated in the planting. This tree commemorates both Arbor Day and Earth Day.
