Group Visits

Weir Farm NHP offers something for everyone, and we do our best to accomodate students, artists, and groups. A typical group visit includes a tour of the historic Weir House and/or Studios followed by time to explore the grounds and gardens, have a picnic lunch, or make art in the park with our free-to-use supplies. School Groups / Field Trips

Group Tours

Group tours of the Weir House and Studios are limited to 12 people and must be scheduled in advance. 2024 Group tours begin at 9:45am and include limited Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays late-June through October. We will begin booking group tours for 2024 dates in May, please contact us after May 1st to book your summer or fall tour. After May 1, please email us at [e-mail] if you are interested in a group tour, and we will follow up with a list of available dates and additional information.

 

Scout Groups

Weir Farm NHP accomodates scout groups in the mornings on the second Saturday of each month, May through October, by reservation only. 2024 dates include: May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, and October 12. Scout groups typically participate in one or more of the Park's Junior Ranger activities and earn a Weir Farm Junior Ranger Badge and National Park Service Scout-Ranger Patch. Plein Air Paint-outs and Artist Groups

Artists are encouraged to visit Weir Farm NHP and participate in the ongoing artistic legacy by creating art in the landscape. Due to our limited parking capacity, all groups of artists meeting up at the park in three or more cars must schedule a group visit by making a reservation with the Park. We can typically accomodate artist groups in our overflow parking lot - up to 25 people Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and up to 15 people on weekends with advanced planning.
