The Washington Monument welcomes all individuals with a disability! The park strives to make visitation accessible by removing barriers and providing alternative programming. Explore the accessibility pages for relevant information categorized by disability type. The Washington Monument uses an elevator to get to the observation level at 500' and is fully accessible for visitors in wheelchairs. Please be aware that internet connection can be unreliable at the top and base of the monument. Contact us with any questions or for help planning your visit.
