Disability access is limited at the Vanderbilt Mansion itself, as most electric wheelchairs and many manual wheelchairs do not fit in the small historic (1935) interior elevator. Most visitors with disabilities are required to stand to move between floors on the elevator. Please call ahead to discuss your particular needs at 845-229-7770. Accessible parking is available in the main parking lot. American Sign Language Interpretation is available upon request.
