Public River Access Points

Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River provides rich opportunities for river trips and outdoor recreation—a quiet float, fishing, or a ride through mild rapids.  

The best and safest way to access the river for recreation is through one of the public accesses that can be found along the river. These accesses are generally managed by either the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) or the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC).

Accessing the River

Please be aware that launching and retrieving vessels such as boats, kayaks, canoes, and inflatable tubes are only permitted at public access ramps managed by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC).  

Do not use or launch off of private lands and private accesses.
