Several easy-moderate trails leave from the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve. To access trails, drive down the Moose-Wilson Road and follow signs to the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve. The Moose-Wilson Road is closed to RVs and trailers and occasionally has closures. Parking at the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve is limited to 50 cars. Arrive early to guarantee a parking spot, but plan on waiting if visiting in mid-summer.

Always be prepared when hiking in Grand Teton. Carry water for every member of your group, be alert to your surroundings, and understand your limitations on distance and elevation gain. Wildlife—such as bears—is commonly active in the area. Never approach a wild animal. To check current trail conditions and bear activity, stop at the visitor center to talk with a ranger.
