To obtain an Academic Fee Waiver:Please, Mail, fax or email the completed NPS 10-1750 Education Reservation Request Form along with proper documentation at least 3 weeks prior to your visit. Also with your completed application, please include a brief summary cover letter, preferably on a school letterhead:

Criteria for Academic Fee Waivers:1) EligibilityNational or international applicants must prove they are a school or bona fide academic institution or school (public, private, homeschool) by submitting one of the following types of documentation to be attached to the NPS 10-1750 Education Reservation Request Form (see Section 5, Criteria One):
2) Educational Purpose of the VisitApplicants must provide a written statement (see Section 5, Criteria Two) verifying that the visit supports a specific curriculum for which academic credit is awarded. 3) Relevance of Park Resources or Facilities Applicants must provide a written statement (see Section 5, Criteria Three) identifying the park resources and/or facilities that will be used to support the educational purpose of the visit, and how they are relevant to that purpose.
