Walk Around The Jean Baptiste Vallé Gardens

Through many generations and different families, the rose gardens at the Jean Baptiste Vallé House have been cultivated extensively into what they are today.
Suggested activities for the gardens:
- Stop and smell the roses
- Practice yoga
- Have a picnic (no glass containers please)
- Meditate
- Watch the birds, squirrels, or other wildlife
- Join a ranger program (sign up at the Welcome Center)
For the preservation of the gardens, please do not pick any of the flowers or other plants.
The gardens are open daily to visitors year-round. The Jean Baptiste Vallé House is only open during scheduled ranger programs. Please check with park staff at the Ste. Genevieve Welcome Center across the street for program availability.

The rose gardens are open to visitors from dawn to dusk, 7-days a week. Through many generations, families, and different owners of the property, the rose garden has been cultivated extensively into what it is today. Whether you are visiting the garden for a leisurely stroll or to attend a program on the lawn, enjoy the time and the views.
