Visit the Thomas Jefferson Memorial
Explore at your own pace or join a guided ranger program. View the portico as well as the museum area inside the monument.
Pets are allowed on the grounds of the memorial but not inside the memorial itself. Pets should stay on leashes no longer than 6 feet in length. Service animals are permitted without exception.

Always Open
The sites of National Mall and Memorial Parks (other than the Washington Monument) are always open to the public. Restrooms, museums and elevators close in the evenings (check individual sites for hours)

Rangers on Duty
Rangers are on Duty to assist the Visiting Public from 9:30 am to 10:00 pm daily (except christmas). The United States Park Police are on Duty 24 hours a day.

Physical accessibility: Use the side entrances on either side of the main stairs to access the museum level. An elevator on the museum level may be used to access the portico.
