Visit Fort Pulaski's Visitor Center
The Visitor Center is open daily from 9am until 5pm. Park staff are available to assist with park orientation and answering of questions. Park maps, brochures and other puplications are available. The day's Ranger program schedule is posted at the Visitor Center desk. Some programs may start in the Visitor Center. Junior Ranger program booklets are available at the desk.
Exhibits inside the Visitor Center highlight the construction of Fort Pulaski and the signifigance of the battle for Fort Pulaski in April 1862. Exhibits include artifacts, a 1930s cross section model of the fort, and media presentations. The theater features Fort Pulaski's park film.
Need to cool off or warm up? The Visitor Center is one of the few places at Fort Pulaski National Monument with climate control.
