Take a Trolley Tour

Trolley tours are offered on a seasonal basis
90-minute guided trolley tours of Valley Forge National Historical Park are ADA accessible and administered by The Encampment Store. Tours follow the Encampment Tour route and depart from the front of the visitor center. Trolleys make extended stops at Muhlenberg's Brigade and Washington's Headquarters.
Reservations
Call The Encampment Store at 610-624-5010 to reserve your tickets.
Advance reservations are recommended. Tickets must be picked up at The Encampment Store gift shop in the Visitor Center at Valley Forge.
Reserved tickets that have not been claimed are released five minutes prior to scheduled tours. Please plan to arrive at the Visitor Center no later than 30 minutes prior to the tour’s departure.

March 14 – March 15: Start up weekend at 11am | 1pm | 3pm
March 21 – June 7: Weekends only at 11am | 1pm | 3pm
Friday, April 3 and Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day): Holiday tours at 11am | 1pm | 3pm
June 8 – September 7*: Daily at 11am | 1pm | 3pm

September 12 – October 31: Weekends only at 11am | 1pm | 3pm
Monday, October 12 (Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day): Holiday tours at 11am | 1pm | 3pm
November 1 – November 22: Weekends only (weather permitting) at 12pm | 2pm
Wednesday, November 11 (Veterans Day): 12pm | 2pm
November 27 – November 29: Thanksgiving holiday weekend tours at 11am | 1pm | 3pm

Board the trolley at the Visitor Center at Valley Forge. Trolleys follow the Encampment Tour route and make extended stops at Muhlenberg's Brigade (stop #2) and Washington's Headquarters (stop #5). The tour ends back at the visitor center.

The trolley tour is wheelchair accessible. The trolley can accommodate up to 2 wheelchairs.

Visitors with limited mobility should note that the group does move over uneven surfaces at Muhlenberg's Brigade (first extended stop) and that it takes few minutes to exit the trolley and reach the Washington’s Headquarters building (second extended stop).
