At-Home Archaeology and Museum Activities for Kids
At Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, archaeologists study the past by digging to find things that people left behind. This can include objects - called "artifacts" - or the remains of buildings. These artifacts become part of our national park's museum collection, and are displayed in museum exhibits throughout the park.
