Explore the Visitor Center Museum
The park museum is found within the Visitor Center and contains exhibits focused on scales of time: Geological, Ecological, Human, and with special exhibits on the Night Sky and Air Quality.
Jr. Ranger
If you're working on your Jr. Ranger book, we highly recommend a visit to the museum. Answers to many activities (especially the Prairie Dog crossword) can be found here!
Native Perspectives Video
In the Human History area of the museum a 24 minute video plays sharing Native perspectives of this area. Watch the video.
Park admission provides access to this activity.
Museum is open during Visitor Center hours.
Two moderately sloping ramps lead from the parking lot to the Visitor Center. The building is equipped with a lowered information desk and fully accessible auditorium with a captioned 24-minute film. Assisted Listening and Audio Description devices are available at the front desk upon request. Restrooms have fully-accessible stalls.
