Thing to Do
The Clough House at Old North Church & Historic Site
The 1715 Clough House remains one of the oldest surviving brick residences in Boston. Now located on Old North Church and Historic Site's campus, the Clough House now serves as the home an upcoming new exhibit and Heritage Goods + Gifts.
Coming Soon: Unearthing Childhood Archaeology Exhibit
A new family-friendly archaeology exhibit is coming to Old North Church’s campus in 2025! Unearthing Childhood will explore the lives of real children of diverse backgrounds who lived in Boston’s North End in the 18th and 19th centuries through archaeological artifacts on loan from the City of Boston. Located in the Clough House behind Old North, the free exhibit will be perfect for families with children.
The exhibit will be presented in partnership with the City of Boston Archaeology Department and made possible with support from Mass Humanities, the Cabot Family Charitable Trust, and an anonymous funder.
Heritage Goods + Gifts features local artisans and small businesses, particularly BIPOC- and women-owned businesses.
For more information, please visit Old North Church & Historic Site's website.
The Clough House is located on the campus of Old North Church and Historic Site.
A stairless entrance is available at the front of the building. However, due to the size of the doorways, not all wheelchairs may be able to navigate the historic building.
