How to Become a Trail Junior Ranger
The Pony Express National Historic Trail has it's own Junior Ranger Program!
1. Download the Junior Ranger Program
2. Complete the activities
You can complete it virtually or after visiting a Pony Express Trail site. Use the official map and guide text.
3. Email us (ntir_Junior_Ranger@nps.gov) a photo of your completed worksheet.
Include your full name and address in the email, as well as the worksheet.
We'll check your answers and send you an exclusive Junior Ranger badge!

Junior Ranger activity can be completed virtually at home, or after visiting a site along the Pony Express Trail. Worksheets can be submitted electronically or by mail.
Junior ranger activites are completed using the Pony Express Trail National Historic Trail official brochure. This brochure is also available at various sites along the Pony Express Trail.
Any age is welcome to beome a Pony Express Trail junior ranger!
