Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park is an ideal location for students of all ages to explore President Johnson's life story and legacy. Our distance learning programs cover important themes and topics related to President Johnson's experience in the Hill Country to his time as President of the United States from 1963 to 1969. Join us from your home or classroom to learn how President Johnson's legacy continues to be significant today!
In President Johnson and the National Park Service students will learn all about President Johnson's environmental legacy and the impact of the physical environment of the Texas Hill Country in his environmental views and policies. In addition, students will learn about the National Park Service and its expansion during President Johnson's administration.
