Create your own exhibit about women's rights!

Essential Question
How can key moments or themes from the Women’s Movement be conveyed through the creation of an at home exhibit? How can students connect different themes and moments across the movement through their exhibit?
Objective
As a result of this lesson plan, students will …
- Learn about the key moments and themes of the Women’s Movement, and link their event to other key moments and themes.
- Use objects from their own home to create their own exhibit
Preparation
1. Share ideas with students/participants about exhibits, creating exhibits, and how they’re used to tell a singular story.
2. Review the links for students/participants to explore the basics of The Women’s Rights Movement.
3. Instruct students/participants to find exhibit objects in their home, or household items which will easily create an exhibit object.
4. Create a shared folder using MSTeams, Google, or a similar platform for students to upload images of their museum exhibits.
5. Using MSTeams, Google, Zoom, or a similar platform, have students share their exhibits with their fellow learners.
