Youth-Serving Organizations

If you’ve ever wanted to recreate and participate in service-learning opportunities, start getting involved at an early age! Join one of these groups for kids, teens, and young adults, who do projects and activities together in national parks.

Here are some ways you can fulfill these requirements through our youth-serving partners:

  • Help clean up a park

  • Work with a park to design a project that helps the park

  • Participate in Junior Ranger activities

  • Take field trips

  • Join a camp

  • Apply to be part of a conservation or service corps

    As a Girl Scout, participate in a variety of educational activities or service projects at national park sites, and earn a patch.

    As a Scout or Cub Scout, have fun doing educational and volunteer service projects at national park sites, and earn a patch.

    Learn about history and aspects of environmental stewardship in our parks through hands-on STEM activities.
