*Please note all locations are subject to change. All YCC programs listed below (except Yellowstone National Park) are non-residential, and are therefore unable to provide park housing and transportation to and from the site. Please keep this in mind when applying.

Alaska Region

City of Rocks National Reserve (Idaho) June 3 – August 2 Resource protection, mitigation of erosion, campground and trail maintenance, and treatment of invasive species using appropriate methods. In addition, fence maintenance for grazing management and riparian/wetland protection is an important task. The YCC participants will also gain experience in the visitor service and compliance department. The students will discuss climate change, prepare a resume, cover letter, practice interviews, and interact with visiting researchers.
