Scenic views are an essential part of the national park experience. The NPS has been in the business of conserving scenic views for more than 100 years. We seek to build on this expertise while committing to science-based cooperative conservation into the future.

The National Park Service Visual Resources Program offers a systematic service-wide approach for inventorying and understanding scenic views. The program also provides management tools and support for cooperative conservation efforts. Contact us for more information about the NPS Visual Resources Program.
