    Southside Park in Sacramento, California is the site of historic development and urban planning. The park was known for its surrounding Latino and multicultural communities, as well as the site of the United Farm Workers March in the spring of 1966. The Southside Park retains sufficient historic integrity and demonstrate its role in city planning, and its subsequent role as a community gathering space for celebration and recreation throughout the 20th century.

    Mexican artist José Clemente Orozco painted the Epic of American Civilization murals in the Baker Library at Dartmouth College, finishing them in 1934. Considered a seminal work of one of the most significant 20th century artists, the murals are composed of 24 individual panels covering all four walls, approximately 3,200 square feet, of the Reserve Book Reading Room of the library.

Paducah Wall to Wall is public art painted by renowned Dafford muralists. 50+ life-size images, including the Lewis & Clark Expedition, famous Clark brothers, and American Indian scenes, make history come alive in this UNESCO creative city.

    Join San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival for the virtual unveiling of the Mission San José Tricentennial Mural on Saturday, November 7 at 4:00 pm. The mural, Heritage, was created by local artist and teacher Sandra Gonzalez. Heritage commemorates 300 years since Mission San José’s founding in 1720. Sandra’s artwork respectfully acknowledges the city and mission community’s cultural and natural history. The mural will be located on the exterior of the Visitor Center at 6701 San José Drive in San Antonio facing Roosevelt Avenue. The virtual unveiling ceremony will be broadcast on the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park Facebook page.
