ADDITIONAL OWNER OBJECTION GUIDANCE AVAILABLE
In response to questions received from our preservation partners, NPS has prepared a fact sheet and sample language to supplement the recent Keeper Letter that identified an alternative to the notarized owner objection process for objecting to listing or designation of a property. These materials can be found on the National Register of Historic Places (https://www.nps.gov/subjects/nationalregister/index.htm) and National Historic Landmarks Program (https://www.nps.gov/subjects/nationalhistoriclandmarks/nhls-in-the-news.htm) websites.

Any questions regarding either the content of the Keeper’s 11/12/2021 letter or these supplemental items should be directed to the Keeper of the National Register (joy_beasley@nps.gov) or Deputy Keeper (sherry_frear@nps.gov).

WEEKLY LIST OF ACTIONS TAKEN ON PROPERTIES: 1/3/2022 THROUGH 1/7/2022
