The NHL Committee met virtually May 14-15, 2024. The Committee considered eleven new nominations for National Historic Landmark designation, three updated nominations, and one withdrawal.
The Committee recommended all NHL actions be referred to the National Park System Advisory Board (NPSAB) for consideration. At its subsequent meeting, the NPSAB will vote on whether to recommend that the Secretary of the Interior proceed with these proposed designations, updated documentation, and withdrawal of designation.
